Job Description:
GreenDart is seeking an engineer with experience in computer programming and software development to join our Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team. SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a software developer on the SE&I Test and Evaluation (T&E) team you will develop tools which collect and analyze satellite data. The SE&I team works in a high-paced environment with Space Force personnel and system developers to ensure the system remains the world leader. Major duties of this position include:
Duties:
- Create software analysis tools to enable the T&E team to verify enterprise requirements.
- Support design and architecture of software to assist the team in understanding large/complex data sets.
- Understand and analyze large data sets to compile meaningful results.
- Analyze system capabilities, including technical requirements, implementation plans, technical impacts of changes, and risks to success.
- Produce and contribute to reports that provide recommendations for fixes to issues and ways forward on technical challenges.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Science
- Secret clearance
- 5+ years of overall experience
- Demonstrated experience with designing and developing software
- Experience with C (++ or #) and Python
- Experience with code configuration management and control tools/processes
- Demonstrated understanding of Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
Nice If You Have:
- Current active Top Secret Clearance
- GPS experience
- Experience with MS Visual Studio C++, C#, Python, MatLab
- Experience and familiarity working with DoD organizations
Travel:
Travel may be required to sites located across the United States
Salary Range
$96,352 - $145,281
